The Urban Landscapes Radioshow 9.32

Written by Velanche

Last week’s broadcast is the last Urban Landscapes Radioshow of the summer. Check the playlist below and have a listen; tasty musical treats aplenty.

The new weekly shindig/blog is finally about to hit the ground running. It should be posted tomorrow on the show’s main web site, so will send out a blurb once it’s posted. Be sure to check out the bi-monthly Global Rewind column, written exclusively for Giant Step’s web site (warning: its web site may be a bit sluggish, for some reason…try again later if the pages are perpetually loading). Lots of cool new and forthcoming releases are in store for you to check out, so please have a read. Also catch my album reviews in XLR8R Magazine; Issue 100 is now out on newsstands.

All for now; hope you are unwinding on this Labor Day 2006. Have a good week!

  1. Hi there collegue dj,
I’m a fierce collector/fan of ninja releases (and you site and show of wourse) and I dj myself in a jazz oriented cafĂ© in Leuven (Bebop). I’d like to ask you if it’s possible to send me a copy of the promo cd-r with Zero db’s version of Samba do Umbigo on (with the vibes). I’ve heard it once and it won’t leave my head. Of course I have the piano version that’s on the Zero db full cd but for some obscure reason this great ‘original’ version stays high on my personal wish list. Could you please consider this request? I’m willing to pay for the shipping cost to Belgium.
