The Urban Landscapes Radioshow 9.41 Playlist

Got a three-hour special for you, with two guestmixes to get you inna funk vibe.

The first comes from Florian Keller. Some of you know that he’s one of the most obsessive collector of rare funk 45’s on earth; others of you know him from his radio shows and club events known as Into Somethin’ (which is no more) and Party-Keller (on radio via Samurai FM and in Germany as a monthly club event); still others know him to be one of my all-time favorite DJ’s. He’s also released compilations during the last few years, and during the summer came the latest in the Party-Keller compilation series put out by Compost Records. He’s put together a tightly-woven mix that should have you groovin’ along.

The other mix comes from those crazy Spainairds known as the Barna Soundmachine. With their own label called Blind Test, the outfit has released three EP’s of mash-up/re-edit versions of classic funk tunes that can stir danger on the dancefloor. Once again, BSM comes through with another winning mix.
