It’s been awhile since the last Urban Landscapes Guestmix. So it’s my pleasure to bring you an exclusive all the way from Moscow, courtesy of Ilya Rasskazov. He’s very much the point man there in terms of all things nu-jazz, broken beat, jazz, soul and related styles. In addition to DJing and organizing events (pulling top talent such as Jazzanova, Bugz in the Attic, and Mad Mats among many others), he’s a journalist and a tastemaker in all respects. His current project, alongside some like-minded friends of his, is a forthcoming Internet radio station in Moscow called Heads FM.

Ilya was kind enough to offer a broken-tinged mix exclusively for Urban Landscapes, so get your dancing shoes on and get ready to boogie!
