On this week’s show, some fresh new music is on the docket including the wonderful new sophomore full-length from the Croatian duo Eddy Meets Yannah, deep new tech-house delight from Stefan Goldmann, a brand new remix from the one-and-only DJ Cosmo, and an uplifting tracks brought to you from an act that’s found the show via Myspace among other goodies.

This week will be the first of two back-to-back estrogen-style Urban Landscapes guestmixes. This week’s mix comes from Eleonora Cutaia, founder of the UK-based online soul community Underground Soul. She wears different hats, including doing bookings and promotions for other artists in the soul scene. She’s making a name as a DJ, having either put on events or has been a guest of others. Her most recent gigs include a stint at the famed London club Fabric. She’s released her first Underground Soul compilation last year for the UK’s Expansions label, and will put out the second volume in the series for the Irma label, based in her home country of Italy. She’s sent this week’s mix last month, and you’ll hear it on this week’s show.

As for who will be doing next week’s mix, I’ll leave it up in the air for now. I do, however, think you’ll enjoy it when it drops.

There’s quite a few guestmixes to present to you during the next couple of months, so let’s start with one that was exclusive to the show. It comes from the producer known as Yosaku. You probably remember him for his dope broken take on Ray Baretto’s cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Pasttime Paradise” entitled “Future Paradise” for the Fresco label out of the Bay Area. His production has been getting a bit more attention of late with his contribution to the Beyondjazz 3 future jazz compilation from the posse out of Belgium. Most recently, he’s done a re-edit for a remix project courtesy of Big Bang’s mighy Arison label from London. He’s also collaborated with one of the more noticeable artists in the scene at the moment, DJ Day. You’ll hear one of the tracks, a few more from him, and a whole bunch of other tunes thrown in this, an exclusive guestmix for the show.

The Halfway Rewind Special continues. Last week, I’ve given you an extended show with most of the albums of 2007 that I recommend you check out. There was an album that I’ve unintentially left out because I didn’t have it with me, but it’ll be included on a final list to be posted sometime next week

This week, though, we move onward with Part Two: The Albums and EP’s. As always, the pickings are more plentiful and, thus, a bit more challenging.
