Last week, you were lucky to get a humongous four-hour show. This week, I’ve shaved it down just a little by giving you a special three-hour edition. Since the jazz show that airs before Urban Landscapes is taking a break this week, I thought it would be cool to slip in the radio station early and start playing the backlog of music I’ve yet to get through, as well as the incoming music that’s been coming through between shows.

There really isn’t much more to say except that if you’re a fan of the show, then I think you’ll like the batch of sounds that ended up being in the mix this week.

This week…is the make-up week.

That’s right. To make up for both my absentia and for the technical glitch of last week, I’m pulling all the stops this week and giving you a four-hour blowout. Hopefully, there’s something for everybody here: Latin, hip-hop, acoustic, future soul, a broken piece, and house.

For good measure, I’ll even throw in a guestmix for ya this week. It’s coming once again from the Bangana duo, holding down the fort at Heya Hifi in Sweden. The best laid plans once again moves into Plan B.

Having miss the show last week, the plan this week was to make it up by doing a three-hour broadcast. Unfortunately, the DJ mixer somehow wasn’t connected to our main console, thus preventing anything coming from it from going over the air.

In the end, I had to settle for the few CD’s I’ve brought with me, and cut the show down to only an hour. Gotta say, though, it wasn’t a bad hour at all. Lots of quality music, mainly new and forthcoming goods, that somehow made the hour a good one.

With the backlog of music in wait, it’s going to be four, count ‘em, four hours on the next show. It’ll start two hours’ earlier for the live shindig, then will be available later as a two-part podcast. More bang for your buck, and more good music for you to savor.
