It’s that time again…mid-June.

And long-time listeners know what to expect at this time of the year. It’s time to take a look back at the music that I most recommend to listeners for the year so far. You’ve heard plenty of good music here, and it’s time to put the spotlight on the select ones for you to consider, and then (hopefully) add them to your music collection.

It’s hard to believe that we are at the halfway mark of 2009. The year goes by fast, but there’s still plenty of 2009 yet. Uncharted territory, indeed, and looking forward to what happens next!

This point of 2009 will be marked with two specials starting next week. It’s the annual Halfway Rewind Special, looking back at 2009 up to now. Part One, airing on June 18, will focus on the albums, while Part Two will focus on the choice singles and EP’s; that show will air June 25. Of course, the shows and the playlists will be online shortly a day or two after the airdate.

Nick is the main person behind the project, backed by a talented roster that includes Ben Hawten and Jessica Lauren; a true labor of love that we are all fortunate to hear and savor.
