It’s the beginning of Summer 2007 (with apologies to our friends in the Southern Hemisphere), and with it comes the last few weeks of June.

Yes folks, it’s that time again where the halfway point of the year has been reached. And so it’s time to reach back to share the music of 2007 so far that I recommend for your listening and support. It’s the Halfway Rewind Special, where Part One (this week’s show) focuses on the albums and compilations. Part Two, next week’s show, will look at the singles and EP’s.

Yes, the year 2006 is now history and 2007 is on. But let’s get just a slight bit nostalgic, shall we? it’s always fitting to take a look back at the past year, and so too does the radioshow. Plenty of goodness from the year has come and gone, but time to go back and remind you of those goods that you remember so well, as well as those you might have missed.

It’s the Most Recommended Music of 2006, split into two parts. Part One focuses on my choice albums of the year, while Part Two shines the light on the singles and EP’s of the year. All of the music is a good representation of what 2006 was musically about, albeit from an Urban Landscapes point-of-view.

Due to time limitations, not all of the picks were able to fit. But fear not, a complete list will soon come with more albums and singles/EP’s that I recommend, as well as the compilations and remixes of the year. Watch for it.
